Snow Squalls, Weather Bombs and Thunder Farts

I can only assume that weather forecasting is so boring that meteorologists are forced to come up with new exciting terminology for weather events that we've already experienced.
I know what a "weather bomb" likely is, but seriously, what the hell are they doing using a phrase like "weather bomb"?

Yeah, I made up Thunder Farts.  What new weather terminology can you come up with?

i would like to place "weather bombs" on a list like the kind matt groening used to create when he was doing "life in hell". other words i'd ban would be "diva", "extreme", and "proactive". i believe, rob, we once talked about combining a couple of these into an awful reality tv competition show called "extreme divas".

Lahey already made the best ones. Shitstorm, Shitblizzard, etc. I want to hear Karen Mair announce a Shitblizzard, right before she gets her little digs in against teachers getting a day off. And most likely after some story about herself.
