Vote Selector Quiz

18 questions to determine which party's policies you are in tune with.

I have no idea who is responsible for this quiz, whether it's slanted in one or another way.  Some of the questions are kind of slanted a bit too much towards or against various party-specific issues, but I took it and scored 100% in compliance with Jack Layton and the NDP policies.
I scored 77% in step with Paul Martin and the Liberal party.
For both the Bloc Quebecois and Conservative party I scored 55%.

Hmmm, mine came up odd. I support the Liberal party 100 percent and I also support the NDP 100 percent. Stephen Harper got 91 percent and Bloc Quebecois got 44 percent. Weird.
Most of my answers though were "somewhat" instead of "strongly". Maybe that has something to do with it?

Or maybe it's because the NDP know they don't have a snowball's chance, and they're free to promise Canadians the moon.

Maybe when you break down the different parties stance's, mathmatically, NDP is the only one founded in common sense. It does seem slanted though. I'll try to get a PC vote...

I just took the test making all the 'wrong' choices. Anti-weed, pro-missile defense, and pro-cutting taxes...
100% Harper, 35% Layton.
We're all just socialists at heart. Anyone with half a brain, who isn't ignorant, is pretty much socialist by nature. Strangely I still don't blindly support the NDP. I don't trust them either.
I propose a 'no candidate' option on the ballots. For people who truly don't think the 2-4 options are worthy. If the majority votes no-candidate, it'd be like an all-encompassing vote of no confidence. All parties switch-up leaders...

Wow, Graham, I think you're right that we're all socialists at heart. I just did another one of these and got:
THANK YOU
According to your opinions on the issues, you will vote for...
The New Democratic Party.
But my daddy told me they were communists!

I for one am not a socialist at heart - and I have a whole brain, not half a brain.
I'd agree with Rob that the quiz was a little slanted. I got 90% Conservative.

Charlotte, I hope your triple post is not an indication of the wasteful spending that the new Conservative government will inflict on us taxpayers.

I'm looking forward to the return to smart fiscal planning from the Conservative gov't. Just like back in the Mulroney days.
Is 2 Billion for Arctic Defense as stupid as those Helicopters?
